La gastronomía colombiana es una fusión vibrante de influencias indígenas, españolas, africanas y árabes, lo que crea un paisaje culinario diverso y lleno de sabor. Cada región del país cuenta con sus propios platos característicos, desde la contundente arepa (pan plano a base de maíz) hasta la sabrosa bandeja paisa (un plato generoso con frijoles, arroz, carne, aguacate y cerdo frito). El sancocho, una sopa tradicional, también es muy popular, especialmente durante las celebraciones. La comida colombiana resalta ingredientes frescos como frutas tropicales, vegetales y mariscos frescos, siendo las regiones costeras famosas por platos como el ceviche y el arroz de coco.
