Rice is central to most meals, often prepared with saffron, barberries, or herbs. Signature dishes include chelow kebab (grilled meat with saffron rice), ghormeh sabzi (herb stew with beans and lamb), fesenjan (a walnut and pomegranate stew), and various types of ash (thick soups). Yogurt, pickled vegetables, and fresh herbs are common sides. Iranian food reflects hospitality, culture, and a deep appreciation for sharing meals with others.

آشپزی ایرانی ترکیبی دل‌نشین از طعم‌های غنی، سبزی‌های معطر و سنت‌های آشپزی چندین قرنه است. در غذاهای ایرانی، تعادل در طعم و زیبایی در ارائه اهمیت زیادی دارد. برنج عنصر اصلی بسیاری از وعده‌هاست که اغلب با زعفران، زرشک یا سبزیجات پخته می‌شود. از غذاهای معروف می‌توان به چلوکباب، قرمه‌سبزی، فسنجان و انواع آش اشاره کرد. ماست، ترشی و سبزی خوردن نیز معمولاً همراه غذا سرو می‌شوند. غذاهای ایرانی نمایانگر مهمان‌نوازی، فرهنگ غنی و عشق به دور هم غذا خوردن هستند.»
