To be considered for membership, applicants must meet at least one of the following:
Hospitality Professionals: Must have a minimum of 5 years of verifiable experience in luxury or boutique hospitality.
Establishments: Must be a hotel, resort, or hospitality group with exceptional guest satisfaction ratings (minimum average rating of 4.7/5 over the last 12 months).
Entrepreneurs & Innovators: Must have made a significant contribution to innovation, sustainability, or service excellence in the hospitality industry.
Nomination or Self-Application: Candidates may be nominated by an existing member or may apply directly.
Portfolio Submission: Applicants must submit a professional dossier, including:
Resume or company profile
Awards, media features, or client testimonials
Visual assets (photos/videos) of the property, service, or concept
Review Fee: A non-refundable processing fee may apply to support the review and vetting process.
All applications are reviewed by the Best of Hôtellerie Selection Committee, composed of industry experts, luxury travel journalists, and senior members.
The review process includes:
Online presence and review audit
Mystery guest experience (for establishments)
Interview or follow-up call (if applicable)
Final decisions are made quarterly, and only a limited number of new members are accepted per cycle.
Once accepted, members must:
Uphold the highest standards of hospitality, ethics, and excellence
Participate in at least one annual event (virtual or in-person)
Maintain a minimum rating of 4.5/5 on major review platforms
Represent the values and image of the Best of Hôtellerie community

Active participation in the network
Payment of annual dues (if applicable)
Members must respect the confidentiality of club communications and events. Use of the Best of Hôtellerie logo and name must follow brand guidelines.
